#EEBAStudentsTrip: CHINATOWN
The trip started at 8:30 in the morning where everyone gathered at the BTS Saphan Taksin Station. By 9:00 am, they arrived at the Ratchawong Pier on their way to Chinatown in Sampeng and walked to one of Bangkok’s famous neighborhoods, Chinatown. Here they explored different places from temples, shrines, markets, street foods and learned about the Chinese culture and history.
After having lunch at Yaowarat, the trip isn’t over just yet. They took a subway train to Sanam Chai station. Next to the station is a pier where they aboard a ‘river taxi’ to Tha Chang Pier to reach the Wat Phra Kaew Temple, also known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha.
The trip ended with a view of the sunset hitting the beautiful temples as the backdrop.
